We Are Not a Glum Lot!

But we are at our capacity for this conference. If you would like to be placed on our waitlist, please email azaawc@yahoo.com

The theme of this year’s Conference is We are not a Glum Lot and we hope to bring plenty of smiles and laughter.

We absolutely insist on enjoying life!
We are excited to announce that the 6th Annual Arizona AA Women’s Conference will be from June 10 to Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Franciscan Renewal Center (The CASA) in Scottsdale.  The maximum number of attendees is 75, so please register quickly if you wish to attend.

The Conference is a closed meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. Attendance is limited to women who have a desire to stop drinking and a paid registration.

The registration form is under the Registration tab.  To register, complete the form, scan or photograph it, and attach it to an email to sstringer444@yahoo.com.  We will send an acknowledgement for your payment and registration.  Please email Erica B. at eta516@yahoo.com to be added to the Conference Facebook page. If you are seeking a roommate the Facebook page is the place to announce that. More information will be forthcoming within the next few weeks on this site.

Volunteer Opportunties: We are seeking volunteers to help during the Conference. “Ambassadors” will assist attendees in finding their rooms and getting familiar with the grounds, answering general questions, preforming some light duties during set up and as always, we need help with clean up. If you would like to be an Ambassador, please contact Susan A at 928-9259605.

Covid Protocol: The Retreat Center maintains rigorous safety protocols regarding disinfection of the campus which includes guest rooms, all public areas especially high-touch points.  Once a guest checks into their room no one will enter their room unless there is a mechanical issue that needs to be attended to. There are hand sanitizer stands throughout the campus and tear-away plastic gloves in the dining room at the front of the buffet lines so guest do not touch the ladles and spoons and sneeze guards over all food, plates and all silverware is individually wrapped and placed in a paper sleeve. The Casa strongly encourages guests to wear masks while indoors. All guests are required to sign a COVID Waiver at check in.
